We should warn people who consider a “do it yourself kit” and try to fix their phone themselves. You will most likely throw away the money and you would have to bring it us and expect us to use an unknown replacement parts from unknown source and we have to decline, because we don’t know what’s going to happen and we can’t be responsible for a product would do something it’s not supposed to. Our insurance company wouldn’t allow it and we can’t warranty labor either, so we won’t touch unknown parts.
A few things a customer might want to know is that majority of front cover glasses are Gorilla Corning Glass 2 and sometimes Gorilla Corning Glass 3. Likelihood of you receiving a part with manufacturer’s defective product is about 1-5%, but since we test the parts, your risk is nearly zero.
